A great awakening and great revival begin.Ī lot of people who fell in line rain or shine along La Salle Green hills and Intramuros just to see her wake for the last time,people who cried, people who wrote things about her,people who admired her ,people who thanked her,people who gave flowers in front of their house in Quezon city,people who offered mass and prayers worldwide, people who wore yellow or changed their facebook profile with yellow ribbon (probably you are one of them)to show ,sadness,grief, support, whatever.
I was really saddened by the death of ex-Pres.Cory Aquino.I don't know what's in me that made me feel that way.I am not even one of those people who rallied along EDSA ,not even one who signed in the one million signature campaign leading to the fall down of Marcos regime nor one of her supporters during that time and yet I have this feeling.Bata pa ako noon eh wala pang malay sa kung anong nangyayari sa ating bansa kung gaano kahirap mamuhay under martial law.If my memory does not fail me ang natatandaan ko lang naman that time e nung pinatay si ninoy at yung pag-iyak ni kris aquino.That's all I can remember folks.The death of ninoy that as if the earth stood still for a moment for all the Filipino's.but thank God it didn't stop there.
